Motorcycles in SD

What do you think about BMW R.35? This is fast recon unit, but I think it's pretty useless and fragile. Even infantry lmgs can kill it. I watched a lot of videos and I've almost never seen this unit except in novice players decks.
Maybe devs could buff it somehow?

Realistically do they need a buff? maybe the motorcycle could be changed to hold 1 driver 1 MG and a single detachable guy with binoculars and a MP-40.

Funny. I tried them for the first time in MP. They can dig deep map control holes in your ennemy line during the 5 first minutes. That's always a good way to troll your adversary. Especially if he started phase A with few units.

They're really not worth the slot but if there's any kind of vehicle i'd like to allow in forests/hedgerows it would be that.

Give them very high optics!

Very high optics or the ability to become a 2 man scout troop (dismounting their vehicle permanently and leaving the mg behind would be easier to implement in the engine than a reusable scout. this way they would be a expansive 2 in1 version of scout cars and 2 man (15 p) scouts.

R.35 would be ideal transport for such 1 HP unit like SAS Sniper. Realistically and logically.

Maybe slightly faster road speed, let them deposit a 1 man recon team and they will behave similarly to the kubel scouts. Maybe keep the optics on the bike for flavor.

Dudes on a bike aren't bulletproof. But I do like the idea of them being able to dismount (and the bike disappears)

would also increase their surrivability (as like normal transports that get destroyed they would get out as infantry. so yeah overall I think this wouldbe a good change.

What is the point then in taking them over the Aufklärer+Kübel Mg variant where the Kübel doesn't disappear? Makes no sense and would add nothing to the game. Very high optics would give these units a unique trait in being very mobile and very good spotters while still being vulnerable without the ability to go hide. Also makes sense since sitting on a bike doesn't really obstruct your field of view. If it turns out to be popular something similar could be introduced for allies.
