Mouse Wheel Unresponsive

The past few months my mouse wheel doesnt zoom well in game. Sometimes there is a lag between when I move the wheel and when it zooms. Other times it does nothing and I have to just keep trying. Sometimes it moves a little and then becomes unresponsive. Often get stuck zoomed all the way in or all the way out. I've tried adjusting the speed in the game options and it has no effect.

Windows 10 is always breaking something. Not sure if its the game or something on my end. Hoping someone has a quick fix I'm unable to find

Sorry but I've never heard of this problem before, in this or any of our similar games.

Has it always been the case ever since you've had the game, or only since what change or update?

Wireless or wired mouse?

Is the mouse anything special, like a Razer or whatever? Or standard USB mouse?

its a logitech m510. i've played the game with the same mouse brand years without issue. Its a recent thing. Since I play the game off and on its hard to pinpoint but recent; I believe it started before Jade Kingdom. Its kind of slow in another game but still works. CK2 is the only game or program where its really problematic. I just started a game tonite so was trying to trouble shoot. Just trying to see if there was some known fix before I set aside time to unistall all my mouse stuff and reinstall.
