Many people have already made an underpinning suggestion, so I'll put it at the top because it's necessary for the main suggestion to work: Allow players to delete and/or rename Custom Blueprints
With that functionality in place, move Custom Blueprint saves from being tied to individual games to, instead, a database like the Pantheon. This way, your custom blueprints can carry over from game to game and you can create them from the Main Menu like you do with Custom Factions, just without any magic material limitations - i.e. like a button reading Custom Blueprints directly under the Custom Factions button on the main menu that takes you into the item forge screen just with all the essences unlocked and available to use.
There's certain combinations that work really well for me for various classes. It would be great to be able to go ahead and create my preferred Blueprints, then be able to see them greyed out in game to see what and how many of each of the magic materials I need to build that exact combo without having to keep notes on the side. Having them tied to individual games means having to reinvent the same custom items over and over again. Even if I play a high culture one time and create a beautiful lance for a death knight, I should be able to pull up that same lance blueprint in my current dark culture game and just change the icon to some horrific, eye-covered umbral lance and save it as a duplicate dark version (again assuming I have all the necessary magic materials in this playthrough to forge it).
