Mp connectivity issue.

I've been trying to play original HOI2 with a friend over the valkyrianet and direct ip connection, but both were in vain.

I scrolled through your guys forum here and found some help, I opened up the ports 2300-2400 and 47642 ( and so did my friend ) but still the same trouble occures... I got a ZyXel PW320 router and he got a Siemens..

can anyone here help us?

those ports are fine.

what is an absolute MUST:

1.go to your routers menu
2.find & turn off the "UPnP" function

this is mentioned somewhere on this forum, but not clearly pointed out there.
but it is absolutely necessary.
at least it helps in my case
