I currently have 2 computers (running windows XP) on a LAN at my house. Using the Local Area mode of multiplay I am able to do multiplay of CK at my home just on this LAN. When I try to use Valkyrienet either with both machines or just one machine, I am able to get into a channel and see games.
However, I am unable to join any games....I get a message about not finding game at host IP.
So...my questions are
1. Can two machines going out through the same router use Valkyrienet?
2. Why can one machine not correctly use Valkyrienet?

Other pertinent info:
1. Verified latest video and sound drivers on both machines.
2. Linksys Router (port forwarding was attempted but did not seem to help)
3. Firewall tried both on and off. (Windows Firewall)
4. HOI2 has successfully been run in Valkyrienet from one of the machines.

Thanks in advance for any information/assistance

1. Yes, I know both the computers in my LAN can join and play games simultaniously in Vnet through a router.

2. Could be related to limitations on your particular router, but most probably to unsuccessful portforwarding with regards to the computer that can not join. You need to copy the router configuration to each LAN-address. (if both computers can join, only not at the same time, i would guess that you should get a better router.)

I don't know if what i am going to say helps at all, but in Europa Universalis 2 and Hearts of Iron (both 1 and 2), i can acess to Valkyrie Net without any problems, and with Crusaders King, i always have a Crash-To-Desktop when i try to do such a thing. I always have to enter in games via IP, and when i do so, i always have massive conectivity problems. All players are always a couple of months ahead of me. While in Europa Universalis 2 and Hoi1 or Hoi2, things go smoothly, although i crash sometimes (in-game).

I have a Surecom router, and i tried to UpNp Forward (also known as port forwarding) the same ports to more then one computer. It always gave me a wierd error. When i try to put one port to more then one computer, it always gives me that error. For example, i can only have one computer using Emule at once. Pretty bad, i know. If someone know what is the problem, i would appreciate hearing the solution.
