mp friend cannot join my gme

on mp i can join mp games with most people but my friend who has just got the game cannot join my games or any other games

he has a router and a network client like the manual says but it still doesnt work we tried the internet and vnet but neither would allow us to join each other

also we both have version 1.2 (UPHQ)

Here is the router sticky --- you both obviously have the same versions, so that problem can be ruled out.

Has to be either a firewall issue, router issue or perhaps one of you are running some kind of ICQ chatline programme that causes a problem.

You may also check that you have similar operating systems (Win XP for e.g) and the SP packs installed.

Good luck -- you will find the MP game scene more of a challenge than SP play..

both turn firewalls off he probally has msm on both have xp with the latest sp installed ,it it probally him because he is the one with the router and i can join other peoples games anyway but not his so i will tell show him wot to do thx for the help
