Once again, Emperor Babur sits together with his favorite General and listens to the random rambling of his old friend. The flow of

Both are interrupted in their idle leisure as a messenger storms in.
Messenger: "Your imperial highness, your looniness, Persian troops are crossing the western border of Persis. Also, an official declaration of war has just reached us- further more, the Portugese declared war on us along with the Persians."
Emperor Babur: "Huh? And I thought Saxon was a nutjob... So be it then. Let them who let loose the dogs of war feel then that they can bite their liberator, too."
General Saxon: "Rugs are fun. CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGE!!!!!"
Emperor Babur: "Exactly, old boy."

Delhi (lf)- Emperor Babur, ruler of the Mughals, has suffered a deadly stroke last night while in his sleep. As one of his courtesans noticed it, it was already too late, and the Emperor had died. The Mughal nation mourns their great leader, conqueror of India and tamer of the Persians.
Upon hearing these news, General Saxon, visionary, general, architect of the Mughal war machine and Nutjob commited suicide.
Obviously he believed his misinformed peers who thought it was Saxons, not Japanese, who commit seppuku upon the demise of their leader- Prince Humamyun, son of Babur, will be crowned emperor today. Well informed circles report that Sakonur, the son of General Saxon will be his chancellor.
I don´t like it when I am interrupted this way.... Anyway...

In the last three years, the Emperor and his loyal advisor had spent many sleepless nights in the preparation of their new endeavor. The name of the operation is "Endless Peace" and it´s goal is as daunting as it is great: The complete defeat and annexation of the remnants of the Persian empire.
The two have decided on a course of action that gambles with the whole empire built up by Babur: Either the Moghul empire will smash it's Nemesis and secure it's future, or it will be crushed during the attempt it self.
General Sakonur: " Alea iacta est."
Emperor Huyamun: "Now, what is that supposed to mean?"
General Sakonur: "Well, I don´t know really. Just sounded fitting."
7. 18. 1534 War is declared on the Persian heretics. Operation "Eternal Peace" starts. Mughal troops on all borders march into Persian territory.

7. 14. 1538 After four years of war, thousands and thousands dead, enough bloodhed to taint the Aral lake red, we capture Awhaz, the last province held by the Persian scum. Emperor Humayun gracefully accepts the total capitulation handed to him by the remnants of Persian nobility.
The whole of the Persian empire is annected and now part of the Mughal empire.
A day after their victory, Emperor Humayun the magnificent and General Sakonur take a visiting tour through one of their new storage halls filled with rugs.
Emperor Humayun: "Well, we have defeated the Persians, but without the Turks, we would have hardly made it.
From now on, we will have to build up our empire, strengthen our borders, spin a web of diplomatic relations and do everything to build up our infrastructure in order to build an empire that will last."
General Sakonur: "That means no more CHARGing for me...."
Emperor Humayun: "I am afraid so. Neither for you, nor for your sons if I can fulfill my dreams. Only after we have a stable and fortified empire and our smaller neighbors integrated with the weapons of diplomacy, will our descendants be able to take the initiative again."
General Sakonur: "Well, I think I will go on a pilgrimage to the lands of my father then. I ask permission for unlimited leave".
Emperor Humayun: "Permission granted. Allah bless you and we will wait anxiously for your return."
The Mughals have conquered the Persians and now rule supreme over south asia. General Sakonur, hero of the final Mughal-Persian war and son of the great Saxon sets of for a journey to the lands of his ancestors.

if it ain't persia, it ain't shiite.

now you're in a great position militarily to consolidate the remaining indian kingdoms and expel the european devils from your homeland. with all of the gold plus the income from trade from the persian provinces, that should allow you to maintain a large enough army just in case the turks or the chinese get a little rowdy. consider sending explorers (if you have any) to find the chinese CoT and any european ones in southeast asia. then you can leech the income from those white devils.

King of nines- yeah, all of a sudden the Mughals are rather wealthy. Still,I am behind the turks in Weapon technology, and I want to maximize the infrastructute (I.e. promote a lot) and I need to fortify all those provinces with minimal fortress levels.
We are however, on par with the Europeans as far as our traders are concerned, and soon we will even surpass them, so leech of their wealth, we will.
Honour Shogun- as I said, before I can mess with the Turks, I will have to get ready. Also, Humayun likes the Turks and considers them his friends and their Sultan the leader of all Muslims... His son may look at things differently though...

since you're exotic tech, i think you'll always be lagging in tech levels since exotic doesn't advance i don't think. but fortifying provinces will be a big help against the turks. don't know who their sultan was at this time, but suleyman is the last of the great turkish sultans. after his death, the turkish empire will begin a slide into decay and weakness. you can take advantage of that....
as for the infidel whiteskins, take their ungodly wealth and use it for the good of allah!

In the years after the annexation of Persia, an era of peace and prosperity follows. For many decades, no Mughal warrior has to enter the perils of war, as Emperor Humayun fullfills his dreams.

Emperor Humayun himself is weakened by the pestilence, but survives and is able to keep the disease from spreading further.
9. 28. 1546 As Sakonur reaches the baltic, all hell breaks loose as Sweden declares war on the Teutonic order. General Sakonur decides to spend his next vacation at the Black Sea, heading home again.

1. 1. 1548 New religious unrest spreads in Europe as a guy called Calvin with his stuffed tiger starts a new faith

So much for now. In the next chapter, the Mughals will go on expanding peacefully while strengthening their empire from within.
It will take the kiss of barbarians from far away to wake that slumbering giant up.

Emperor Dennis- I will definetly need Mekkah. Yet, I don´t know if I will ever be able to fully beat and gobble up Turkey. I already found out, that they have quite an impressive colonial empire. More then I ever saw them getting, actually... Probably my constant struggles with Persia and peace afterwards, plus their early annexation of the Mamelucks enabled them to achieve that. They are in quite a good position, plus they are my spiritual brothers in a world filled with heathen scum.

the turks will almost always annex the hadjaz and oman. at least they have in just about every game i've played...
Why don't you go for China instead. The wealth of those cities is incredible - much better than old Turkey.
Emre- in order to get to eastern Asia, I would need to build a land connection there. Right now, I would have to hack through thousands and thousands of natives in lands where my soldiers would die of diseases, supply limits, etc.
