Multiplayer bug?

I started playing on multiplayer and well everything was going good until acouple days later i tried to start a game in sp and it crashed during the loading part. I restarted comp and still even during single player and multiplayer i could not start a game.
I uninstalled (unfortunately losing all saved games ) and then reinstalled and it still would not work. So i restored comp to a couple days earlier and it worked again. At the time i thought the problem had nothing to do with multiplayer, and again i went to play multiplayer and the same day right afterwards the game crashed during loading. So i repeated process of restoring comp and installing again to get it to work and again, went to multiplayer and for the 3rd time right afterwards i had the same problem(crashing during loading). I thought finally after that to stay off multi and see if the problem would stop coming up and now i havent seen the problem again.

I was wodering if anyone else has seen the same problem? Im thinking maybe its a bug or virus that came from sombody during multi, because after playing multi a few games i found nothing wrong. So im pretty sure its not the game or the patch.

I would say you were just unlucky.

Everything is working fine now though right.

i think maybe youre cd is defected.. should try to exchange while you can or maybe somethin with the warranty could help you out.

A defective CD should not cause problems like that, as the game only uses it for verification purposes - checking that you have the game, not reading data - after installation (and doesn't use it at all for post-1.05 versions).

You also would not be able to reinstall if you had a bad CD.
