Multiplayer Connection Problems

Hey guys,
Me and my mate trying to play online but the game crashes every time we try to connect. Both of us tried to host and connect, didnt worked - or used conventional methods like restarting game/computer. Yesterday, everything was fine but today, we couldnt play (singleplayer works as usual no problems.)
What may be the problem? Is there any bugs or maintanance on the mp side?

This appears to have been a Steam problem, as this and our other affected games all use Steam MP services. Our games that use other MP services (Nakama) were not affected.

I now have other reports that the problem is resolved, please confirm for me it works for you too.

In case such issues happen again, you can try to switch to the nakama multiplayer in startup options on steam (and if nakama ever has problems you can switch back to the steam multiplayer)
