Multiplayer is Broken

My friend and I have tried absolutely everything to get Multiplayer to work.

We are unable to join ANY game, wether we use Hamachi, Connect via Friends, Direct ID, Lan or Internet.

Nothing works and all we get is "Unable to Connect"

The only way to work is to connect to id. The id is the long string of digits on the bottom right while he is hosting a game.
