I am playing AOD 1.04 on Gameranger with my three adult children. I am in one city playing on a newer laptop with Windows 7. My three sons live together in another city. Two of them are hard wired and playing on newer desktops with Windows 7. The third son seems to have the problem. He is playing on an older laptop with XP and is connected to the Internet through a WIFI router. After a few months into the 1936 game, he starts to lag. By the 9-month point, his cursur jumps and he moves it across the screen, making the game unplayable at that point. Is the problem the WIFI connection, XP program, both, or something entirely different? Your help is desperately needed to restore family harmony.

I'd suspect the older Laptop has either not enough memory, CPU power or the data on it's HDD is highly fragmented.
