Multiplayer savegames not loading..

I have several multiplayer savegames that will not load.

My friend and I connect, get into server together, but when I try to load the saved game and I press start it loads part of the way and then the game crashes to desktop and gives an error about something not being the same. It is being loaded with the same player I saved the game with originally.

Anyone have any clue to what the problem may be?

Nope. Nothing changed except about 16 hours of time passed.

Which version of the game? On which language?

Current version of the game says ?.?.?; English.

Lists latest version out as 1.01.1 but the update button is greyed out.

What exactly the error is?
Try loading the save in a single player mode.

Tried to load it in singleplayer and got the exact same error.

Is there a way I can patch the game outside of steam? When I launch the game through steam it says version is ?.?.?.

EDIT: Fixed it. I needed to patch manually. Thanks for the help guys.

Seems like a problem with your savegame (line 49554 or 49654)
