multiplayer troubles

Every time I want to play Victoria over Valkyrie net I get the "There is no game at the host IP" message!
it happends with every single game I want to join. Anyone got the same prob?

Sounds like the good old firewall issue, you have checked if you have one?

What if i told you im on 56k, no router, no firewall (believe me, no windows one or software one or any other one) and still get this problem?

ISPs?

Isn't it true that some ISPs have firewalls set up? I have vague recollections of this, anybody know for sure? Your ISP may be blocking some ports....maybe. Its all I can think of that might be a problem.
