Is the great war multiplayer, i find nothing on this board that says it isnt but htne i also find nothign that says it is, i tryed already and it just crashes for somereason when i pick a senario when i have my freind in the game maybe this is a whole nother error?

Well standard HOI is multiplayer so in a sense TGW mod is too. I wouldn't recommend multiplayer though until we get to a release that is not a beta (Although we do appreciate any adventurous souls out there willing to play a multiplayer game and risk the possible beta crashes.). At some point that release will come and then hopefully TGW will be multiplayer friendly.

Well, judging from CORE, the mod-dir version of the mod probably isn't multiplayer. Apparently, HOI doesn't use mod-dir for MP, which is why there a non-mod-dir version of CORE for MP.
