It has not been tested for MP. I do not know whether it works or not. Let us know one way or the other. MDow

it does not work. pop-up over and over again saying failed to load scenario or something like that. mod looks great in single player, though. great job guys!

Hmmm. Not surprising really, but could pose a problme for people who have more than one mod installed if we have to drop mod-dir. We'll look into possible solutions for this as soon as we can.

Curiously, can someone tell me if I screwed up the installation of CORE2?

1) I downloaded .msi
2) Made a copy of \HOI2 in \Paradox Interactive called \HOI2 Core
3) Installed .msi into \HOI2 Core
4) Was told by friend to copy and paste folders from within \Mod Dir\Core 2 to the \HOI2 Core folder.

I think he told me something wrong

Just leave the .msi on your desktop (makes it easy to find)
When prompted for the new path (c:\...\HOI2 CORE\)
This should load all of the files in their correct locations

thank you.. my friends and i cant wait to play your awesome mod in multiplayer.

CORE in multiplayer could be possible if all the files were moved to the proper directories and not run from the \mod dir, right? I'd really like to be able to play this MP one day.

In theory yes. In practice? We don't know. As I said above, if we have to drop moddir, even if for just MP, it will present problems for people who may have more than one mod installed to the game. We are going to examine the problem as best we can, and hopefully find a solution that covers all potential issues. If not, we can always petition Paradox for some additional MP support for moddir.

Can this be played in lan?I and my friend love playing Paradox games via lan and it would be bad if we couldnt play Core through it.We can play AGCEEP and other mods too.

MP is non functioning at the moment. We are working on the problem, but there's no time table as to when this will be corrected.

your diligence is appreciated. i prefer playing multiplayer so i would install a mp mod on a vanilla hoi2, even if it meant not being able to play single player.
after all, whats conquering the world if it cant be done amongst friends?

Oh, it wouldn't effect SP play of CORE. The problem would be for those who also play Stoney or TRP or nay other mod, as we'd end up replacing the vanilla files with CORE ones. We're trying to find a solution to accomodate those whoplay more than one mod out there, but I'm not sure we'll be able to. Only time a lots of experimentation will see.
