2.06 will load up MP but it will not reload due to the fact that we use MODIR and Paradox does not support that option in MP currently. This can be worked around, but it is complicated, as you must manually install the HSR2 files directly into HOI2 (do this to a second copy if you want to play vanilla still). I've never tried it, so if you do I recommend finding someone who has already done this for better instructions.

there were several discussions about this at the stony forum.. so best to check there.
besides what dec mentioned some sayd its possible to play MP with moddir if you exchange your save files.
if i remember correctly you need to exchange (copy) both the .cfg file in "HOI2\scenarios\save games" as well as the .eug "HOI2\HSR_2\scenarios\save games" from host to client.
but havent tryed it!
be aware that HSR isnt aimed for use in MP (atm) and there may be (more) bugs...
thanks for all help so far...my friends and i love this mod and are dying to play it in mp...we cant tolerate the original version anymore because of the excellent work with this mod. the AI is so much better! hopefully someone can help us get it up and running.
Well if what they say is true, and in any case you do not play vanilla HOI, just copy all files and folders located inside the HSR_2 folder and paste it inside the hearts of iron 2 folder. You will notice you will have to overwrite lots of files. Just say yes to all. Then you will have HSR as your core programme and you should be able to do what you want.
