Multiple explorers and separating units

I have seen the thread on choosing generals/admirals, and saw the explanations.

I had this problem with explorers. I sent one explorer from Da Lat with som ships to 'save' poor Hawkins who had just crossed the Pacific from Magellanes, and had only one left. The two fleets were combined, but the 'aufteilen' is not lit when I choose the fleet.

Then I tried umorganisieren, but only the topmost fleet lights the orange arrow. No way of clicking could persuade Sunderland to change to the other fleet...

Could it be that the function only looks for admirals, not explorers? Or that Sunderland is an 'event explorer' not a regular leader?

Martin (who would very much enjoy using all my three explorers to find New Zealand, Siberia and Hawaii before 1580...)

'Aufteilen' with fleets only works if there are at least 4 ships in the fleet. IMHO its not possible to divide leaders through 'umorganisieren'. So you have to enlarge your fleet and then choose 'aufteilen' that should do the trick.
