Is it possible (or even legal) to install multiple copies of Doomsday on the same machine, say, for modding purposes? I've been using GSME for a while, but files get jumbled up, and at this point, I'd like a separate installation just for Kaiserreich.

Advice?

Can't speak from a legal point of view, but I've got a dozen copies of Armageddon supporting a number of MODs.

Just copy the game in its entirety to another folder and go for it :)

Keep a clean copy as backup, just in case.

That's all? Hm, I didn't think it would be that easy.

It's like that with EU1, EU2, CK, Victoria, HoI1, and HoI2. I think the new games built on the Clausewitz-Engine need to be installed instead of just copied, though I'm not sure on that.

Funnily, all of the above can be played directly from USB-Stick, so they're even suited for playing at work :p (not that I'd do that... *angeleyes*)
