Rome will play any .mp3 you put into the /music folder. It picks random files from there.

Excellent! A way to put the Gladiator-Soundtrack on my shelf to use!
Does it only read .mp3s or does it also take shortcuts?

Hmm, I have a question : does the playlist gets formed before you start the game?

It seems it only reads two of the new mp3 I've added at best. Actually, it seems that those two replaces previous EU:Rome mp3, which don't play anymore.

Anyone else noticed?

Just to add that I checked more toroughly today, and indeed it seems that when adding custom music on top of the one already there, the game either skips most or stop playing music altogether. By removing those and then keeping the original music, then they play correctly.

Bug?
