I like the original musics, but after a while I need some change. I noticed that the music files are simple mp3's, so I thought it'd be a simple matter to replace them. I replaced the files with some new ones (Two Steps From Hell, figured it'd make playing a little more epic), naming them exactly the same so that I wouldn't need to touch the txt-file.

Didn't work. No musics, either in the menu or the actual game. And yes, the tracks I entered are all mp3's.

So I looked for answers on this forum and come to the conclusion that I hadn't done anything wrong. I started experimenting, finding out various things in the process. Such as the fact that if I put back the original track that's listed first in the txt-file (CRUSADER_KINGS), it plays the track in the menu, and if I go to the game before it ends, I get two random track from among the ones I switched. Two, then it gets quiet again. This has happened three times now. Even more baffling is the fact that when I moved EASTERN_WIND to the first in the list and replaced the original, I get the track in the menu, but not the two extras. Tried twice.

I realize it'd be easier to just turn off the BG musics and play some of my own with a player on the background, but the sheer lack of logic in this problem makes me want to find out what causes the problem, and if possible, fix it. Can anyone help me?

Edit: Also, when I don't remove any of the old tracks, just add some new tracks, it gets quiet after it plays one of the new tracks.

Edit2: Scratch that, it was only that one time. Just now it played another new track after the first, and then continued with an old track. Might be a problem in only some of the new tracks, not all of them. Especially since it just stopped after on old track.

Edit3: I did some more testing, and it turns out 7 out of the 13 tracks don't work. The remaining six work just fine. No wonder it felt so random. -.-'
