Music not playing - ideas?

I can't seem to get the music to play on my copy of EU2, though I'm sure it did play at one point. In the EU options program (where you select screen resolution too), I have music set to "on" and in the game options I have Music Volume set to "99". The sound effects (battles etc.) work fine, though!

I have the 1.05 patch installed and its the UK version of the game. I've mostly been playing MKJ's Grand Campaign, maybe its a problem with that?

Anyway, any ideas on how to get the music playig agian would be greatly appreciated!

Did u turn the music on in the eu2_settings file?

I think so, if you mean the little program where you set the screen resolution as well

What have you installed or changed from when it was working?
Have you gone into the option screen when your save game was actually loaded and adjusted the sound?

back up any save game files or anything you have that you want to keep and reinstall
