When I started the game last time, there was suddely no music (I haven't changed anything in the game files and folders and in the options menu the music volume is maxed out)?
Is there any way to correct it, without reinstalling everything?

EDIT: Maybe it is for the bug report forum, please move it, if it belongs there

do you hear sfx sounds?
if no, then maybe you muted your pc by mistake

I can hear SFX without problem.

Did you install a codec pack or audio program recently?
Crusader Kings uses standard MP3 for music, which many codec packs or music players interfere with.

That might be the problem, I installed a audio codek pack, because I had some problems with BS player

Okay... look for any MP3 splitter in it, and toggle the setting (if it is enabled, disable it and vice versa). If your codec pack has no such option... no idea.

I use the Win7 codec pack from Shark007.net for some of my movies, and I must enable the Standalone MP3 splitter to get music in CK, EU3, but also non-Paradox games like Fallout 3.

the easiest way of "solving" the problem, was simply running all music from the music folder in a music player and run the game :D I could have figured out that earlier

Anyway thanks for your help

EDIT: i might try you suggestion with the splitter later

I have the same problem but not for Crusader Kings but for Rome and EU3. Weird.

Opted to ressurect this thread instead of starting a new one.. I installed ITunes yesterday and today my CK music wouldn't play. I've uninstalled ITunes again and reinstalled CK but to no avail.. I have no idea how to proceed from here.. Any advice??
