music settings not saved

Hi!

I don't like the in-game music and switched it off,
but unfortunately I have to do this everytime I load
a game. Obviously the music settings are not saved,
which is somewhat annoying. Is it a bug or a feature?

Have you downloaded 1.09? There you can start the game without music. It actually runs faster then as no music routines are loaded at all.

I can't get back music!
I started a game with the option Music: no
now if i change it back to Yes the music wont start.
(i'm not using the /nomusic flag)


Is there a /nointro flag too?

Modifica la "destinazione" nelle "proprietà" del coolegamento al gioco che hai sul desktop o nel menu avvio cosi'

"F:\Europa Universalis\europa.exe" /nomusic


attento alla posizione delle virgolette!
Non caricherà il modulo della musica, quindi caricamento + veloce, ma la musica del menu iniziale resta...

I've found the same problem.

If you turn "off" the music under options and then re-load a game or just re-load the next day, it still shows "off" under options but the music is playing.

If you then select music to "on" and confirm and the go back straght away and select "off" the music will turn off.

Using 1.09NA.

No i have the opposite problem: i can turn on the music after i turn it off...
