Muslim ruler crash

After death of my count his heir has been of muslim religion. Game has been going OK all that day with muslim "count". Tomorow when I have wanted to load game there has been problem!! It has not been possible to choose my county !!

After that I have wanted to be smart and start game with load inside another game with f12 option. After writting load ...... ( name of game ) Crusader kings has crushed.

This is not nice.

Not being able to play muslims is Working As Designed, as Crusader Kings is only meant to be played as a christian feudal ruler. Therefore the game only shows christian feudal rulers when loading a save.

I've not heard of that F12-command and console commands are not supported actions either.

So in short: I'd like to help, but you are trying to do things which the game is not meant to be doing, so crashes and other problem behaviour is to be expected.

But that his heir is a muslim count and from the same dynastie is surely not something that was ment to happen, so that is sort of a bug or feature.

Maybe you should try Divine Shadow's Muslim and Pagan mod.

But then again, he uses 104a, so I don't know for sure if the religious conversion events for vassals are in vanilla.

Umm, yeah, true. How did you get your heir to be muslim in the first place?

In 1066 scenario I have writen child of muslim religion for my ruler which has been in marriage but without sons.

In one other situation when I have played game real muslim has become my number 3 heir.

I never play with elective law, but in that situation my ruler has been without sons so child of ruler daughter married with muslim inside my court...

So you edited the game yourself and as a result it doesn´t work as intended? I´m sorry, but Paradox can´t start dealing with those kinds of situations.

What you can do is try the Muslim and Pagan mod, but note that it is not official. Downloading the latest beta patch might have prevented the situation from arising, but I doubt it will help after the ruler is already Muslim.
