I thought I'd share the final result of my Wessex campaign. It's taken me 3 months to complete, but I finally made it to the end.
I'm sure it's nothing compared to the greats on here, but this game was the first where I successfully formed a Kingdom in CK2. I kept running, conquered Wales & Scotland. Ireland capitulated. Conquered northern Spain, and pressed a relative's claim on Middle Francia. Ended CK2 in control of Britannia, Francia, Hispania & Scandinavia.
Brought it into EU4, solidified my hold on Europe by fighting the two blobs of Rus and the Byzantines. I became the only Catholic ruler until I released Jerusalem as a March. Kept colonising & conquering in the Americas whilst this went on. In the last century I switched focus and completely conquered Africa only to have to fight off a massive rebellion in the last 3 years. Sure I could have done better in EU4, but it took me a little while to get a grasp on the new fort combat system (first game since before El Dorado).
By the end of the game, I (and my March) hold the entire, controllable, coastline from the White Sea to the Red Sea.
