My first game with SR2

So far it’s very much like vanilla. I’m playing the US very hard (HSR insane)/weakling. It’s late ‘42. Japan is bogged down in China and has not DOWed the US.

Germany was passive in ‘41 and the SU DOWed them in the Spring of ‘42.

My last game with vanilla US, Japan DOWed in November ‘41.

Oh well…

I am playing the USA as well and have the same problem , Japs have not DOW'd me and Germans have not DOW's the russians it is July 1942.

Few of other things
1. The gearing bonus appears to have gone
2. Mexico is same colour as USA on the political map
3. UK very strong have over 240 division 5 less than the Germans who have built nearly all Infantry and have only 6 armor and no motorized.

Finally the Italians are doing very poorly, have only 11 division and lost N Africa in 2weeks.

Same here but then in vanilla HOI2 Japan never declared war on the US.

How do I change the color of the US in the political mapmode back to blue?

If Stony Road hasn't changed the basic idea for it's mod, then this mod should on be played as Germany.

It is BEST played as germany, but with further releases other countries will also become more interesting to play

Oh, I see. I don't think I need playing as Germany to be any harder. The AI is a better Germany than I am. o

Do not expect HSR 2.00 to be as HSR 1.06. One had one week development the other two years... the country played the most is Germany so we started with Germany for logistical problems. Check our changelog to see when we are modding your country of preference.

Also it might help if you increase the difficulty level to furious...

Makes that big a difference? I assumed that it was like EU II where a furious AI can self-destruct.
