Started IGC as Austria using the 'standard' variant where the Lowlands belong to Spain, did'nt think I would be needing them as a human player...
But when Bohemia had refused my vassalisation attempt for the 10:th time I started to wonder if I did'nt have to few provinces after all... And when both Hungaria and Bohemia took a couple of provinces each from Turkey and left me as the smallest coutry of the three I decieded that it was time to shelve the plans for peacefull annexation off Bohemia and Hungaria...

Vassalizing Bohemia is easier in the alternate settings where You have some or all of the Lowlands, but it also works in the standard setting. I balanced the game for the setting difficulty=normal btw. Of course if You choose 'difficult' it´s more difficult. :)
Also, if You don´t have the money to beef relations up early, You should maybe wait until around 1506 an event occurs improving Your relations to Bohemia. Good luck!

I was able to vassalize Bohemia after the second time..Around 1510 (Difficulty and AI Aggressiveness set at maximum). One must just be patient..I enjoy the uncertainty of the game, sometimes even the best laid plans don't succeed, actually they don't work most of the time.

Good job Guys!

Started my first IGC 1.07 as England (So I can interact with as many new nations as possible) So far it has been interesting. One question - Was Turkey changed at all in their aggressiveness towards Austria/Hungary. This is the first time I have seen in the GC that Turkey has gone all out against Austria/Hungary (Wars every 5 years much more historic) Thanks again and keep up the good work!
