A friend of my self has a problem in heo4 like the game only runns on 1 fps since the 10 of march this year and reanstealt the game more then one´s and it still kannt be fixed ....

thougt so and he did do somting similar whit it and
he asked for help wiht the problem on the heo4 discord server
that could be so many things. my first guess would be CPU overheating, since hoi4 is very heavy on CPU. tell him to install a temperature monitor and take a look if it's getting too hot
Does he have a laptop or at least a CPU with built in graphics? The game might run on the crappy GPU. Force the game to run on dedicated GPU.
