You can't change what resource tags are affected by the manus - it's a hardcoded thing.

Allright then can we just do this:

CLO;Cloth;;;;;;;;;;800
GOLD;Tea;;;;;;;;;;801
COT;Cotton;;;;;;;;;;802
FISH;Fish;;;;;;;;;;803
FURS;Furs;;;;;;;;;;804
GRAI;Transport animals;;;;;;;;;;805
IVOR;Ivory;;;;;;;;;;806
METAL;Metal;;;;;;;;;;807
MINERAL;Gold;;;;;;;;;;808
ORIENT;Silk;;;;;;;;;;809
NAVS;Wood & Bricks;;;;;;;;;;810
SALT;Salt;;;;;;;;;;811
SLAV;Slaves;;;;;;;;;;812
SPIC;Spices;;;;;;;;;;813
SUG;Grain;;;;;;;;;;814
TOB;Tobacco & Sugar;;;;;;;;;;815
WINE;Fruits;;;;;;;;;;816
WOOL;Farm Animals;;;;;;;;;;817
TEA;Coffee;;;;;;;;;;818
COFFEE;Gems;;;;;;;;;;819
NOTHING;Nothing;;;;;;;;;;820

And when I get home i´ll gonna change the resource

Can it work??? :(

Why not keep Tea, Coffee and Gold as is and simply change Mineral to Gems (to which it can be somehow related) ?

The table will the looks like:

CLO;Cloth;;;;;;;;;;800
GOLD;Gold;;;;;;;;;;801
COT;Cotton;;;;;;;;;;802
FISH;Fish;;;;;;;;;;803
FURS;Furs;;;;;;;;;;804
GRAI;Transport animals;;;;;;;;;;805
IVOR;Ivory;;;;;;;;;;806
METAL;Metal;;;;;;;;;;807
MINERAL;Gems;;;;;;;;;;808
ORIENT;Silk;;;;;;;;;;809
NAVS;Wood & Bricks;;;;;;;;;;810

SPIC;Spices;;;;;;;;;;813
SUG;Grain;;;;;;;;;;814

WINE;Fruits;;;;;;;;;;816
WOOL;Farm Animals;;;;;;;;;;817
TEA;Tea;;;;;;;;;;818
COFFEE;Coffee;;;;;;;;;;819
NOTHING;Nothing;;;;;;;;;;820

This does not take side-effects into account !

I considered that. But the problem is that coal makes no sense as a resource untill the late 18th century or possibly even not untill the 19th century...

Well...the only thing I can think of besides that is lumber - for sword handles, scabbards, shields, lances, bows, arrows, cannon wheels, musket stocks, etc., but I don't know how well that would "go," ya know? Hmmm...

Is it better this way?

So transport animals will affect your military support limit and gems will be affected by weapons manus, wood and bricks will be affected by naval manus, and grain will be affected by refineries.

AFAIK the only ones without attached affects are FURS, IVOR, ORIENT, SALT, SPIC and WOOL. And I think one of COFFEE and TEA. All the others have "hidden" effects you need to be aware of.

Maybe you could hook him up with a link to a FAQ? Of course, I'm only guessing that a) one exists and b) you know where it is. :eek:o

Looks nice. Fish, IIRC grants bonuses to naval manufactories, and maybe to support limit for ships.

Game will boost your supportable army limit, but if that's what you're after it otherwise looks fine. You could change GRAI to something like Produce, though, and have an image of all sorts of produce, like grains, veggies, and so on.

Yes but then we get grains, fruits and spices in the same

What about this one?

I think Cloth can be removed since it can be made of wool, furs, etc..
I think tobacco and sugar shouldn't be merged together since these were both important raw materials in those times.

What do you think?
