My son is stuck in another court

In a game as Dany I managed to take the Iron Throne. An event popped up during my war's afterwards that one of my Kingsguard might have mixed loyalties, I said they would be loyal.
They ran off with said kid, who was imprisoned.
War ended, kid is still in prison under my Vassal's Vassal.
I tried releasing the kid by saving and switching to the other guy, but the kid just ended up in his court.
