it will conflict with some CD-ROM drive, but not with other. That's the reason why it installs on another machine. If you were to change your CD-ROM drive for another brand, it would probably work. However, contacting the publisher is the first step. If they don't want to help you, then you'll have no choice but to buy new hardware :(

Ok, I'll try to contact Vision Park.

Realizing that this probably is not the place to discuss pirat-software, but do you think some sort of run-with-no-cd-crack could help me? Does such a crack exist?

There is a patch for the US version and the publisher has it (both for EU 1&2). However, I haven't seen one for the Nordic version, but it's not impossible the publisher might have one. Search the web, you never know...
