Is there a way for a god to be born from a union not of two gods?

Maybe a rare chance for a demigod and a god or a god and a giant or dragon to produce one?

Zeus had kids with lots of nymphs that turned out to be gods after all.

And Loki's kids with the giant Angrboda had Hela who was a god.

actually, MY character was the father. and there was no "but thats not right" or similar message to the pregnancy event thing. so yeah, pretty sure the husband was the real father
I looked through the code, there is a 5% chance for two dragonborn to have a dragon child

No. You can only get a god when both parents are gods.

Playing around with Merchant Republics a bit more, I noticed it was more than just the trade post limit that was off. The buildings that are supposed to provide troops don't seem to be working either, and the income provided by the buildings also does not seem to add up.
I can confirm that the stat boosts from buildings still seems to be working though.
So 1 year without an upload.
Is this still being developed @Rydelfox ?
One year is a pretty long time, if you are done with it, just let us know so we know not to bug you about stuff like this.

Edit: I found the patch file that was posted earlier in the thread, sure would've been nice if that were pinned somewhere, works like a charm for the Merchant Republics though.

I don't recall the average lifespans off hand. I recall dragons live about 2-3x as long as humans, though since they start having a chance to die of old age at the same time, exactly how long can vary wildly. Werewolves and giants have +2 health, which usually gives them about an extra decade. Vampires are immortal; they won't die of old age and can only catch diseases by feeding on someone with the disease.

Unless they are a strong, attractive, genius, in which case they will get killed by the 1% chance to die on a hunt at age 17.

Sorry, I haven't done any development on it since then. I was originally taking a break, then CK3 was announced. I'm just going to leave Mythos 2 as is. I may create something for CK3 eventually (and hopefully something more stable). However, if I do, it won't be a Mythos 3, though it may borrow some ideas from Mythos.

I wish you the best of luck with continuing our work. Remember to credit the original team as well as us :p

it was a while ago, so I don't remember if he had any other traits that could have influenced it, but I once saw a werewolf get to over 100 years of age!

can you buff the undead? Bjarmia just sits there doing little for the whole game. I expected overwhelming hordes taking out most of northeastern Europe, or at least capable of expanding farther then about a dozen provinces at the very most

I'm planning on revamping the undead. Also, if anyone wants to help out, just message me. I'm trying to find people, but I only have 1 other person working on it right now. It looks like I might be doing this with a VERY small team.
