Name lists not working properly?

I ran into this issue while creating several custom empires to play against. When I assign a name list to an empire, that list is applied to ALL custom empires. Meaning all their scientists, governors, admirals, generals, leaders and ships are named from the same list.
Is anyone else running into this issue?

I didn't notice, but I haven't been looking.


I DID notice, however, that the script in game isn't using the title you give your ruler. It defaults to generic during elections or when one dies.


Side note, is there a way to make your rulers all one gender? I'm role playing a hive mind and it seems silly that a male could inherit.

I don't know about the hive mind. I actually tried to play as hive mind yesterday but couldn't find it. The only place I found hive mind mentioned was under name lists. Is it even available on Xbox yet? I heard rumors it will be included in utopia this summer.

Additionally, and very minor, the back story I type up for my empire doesn't show in game. I just get the generic one. Not really a problem as that message is gone forever once I press A and begin playing. Just temporarily ruins the submersion.

No, I'm just role-playing it.

Hopefully Utopia adds matriarchy abd patriarchy options.

What about mega stuctures? I've researched the tech but can't seem to be able to build them. Is that another dlc goody?

Construction ships have a option in the manage fleet for them. When you select the ship

Aha! Apparently I am missing tech still. I have researched mega stuctures but I guess there are more I need.

You can't build them, only find and repair them.
