After reading Mettermck's AAR, there definitly needs to be some means for renaming units. Several of his armies during the crusade were 'Anonymous Commander's Army.' This is much to similiar to Gunther's Band out of EU2.

I would guess that he played it under a slightly earlier version than the gold and that was probably before army commander names had been sorted out.

Re the orders of knighthood...being able to create distinct orders of knighthood is a bit too detailed for CK, although there is a sort of accomodation to this as a trait.

I thought maybe the 'annonymous commander' armies were raised from royale demense (therefore not having a noble commander). If it was replaced with a default "Men of ___" that would be plenty.

So, that has been sorted out now, right?

And all names will prolly be editable in the savegame anyways... ;)

True, and if my theory is correct it's MP that makes unchangeable names important anyway.

I wonder what the characteristics will have that Mr. T was referring to:

Maybe we can give titles that show up as traits? "Emir of Emirs" or coded names or merely unnamed goodies (all presumably limited in number).

Its reasonably distant from the idea of actually giving or having titles turn up, but perhaps a trait/traits can be had that are more like facts, saying essentially that this bloke is a member of his Kings' inner circle, for whatever reason, it gauging loyalty, personality and stuff like that. Essentially someone who would be made the member of a prestigeous order.

Just throwing ideas around, like.
