First, please read the post you are quoting. It's is a post that's several months old and specifically states that "So far the playable dynasties are". That list is no longer valid as a list of playables...
But since you raise a few issues:

was initially a Duchy and the first to use the title "king" was Wratislaw II in 1088 - after the game start in 1066.
The list is, as mentioned, not relevant anymore and the inconsistency in naming (native/standardized) here is of no importance.

But since you raise a few issues:
What is this "Germany" you are talking about? You mean the one that formed a part of the Empire of which the Salians titulated themself Roman Emperors? The one where it's elected king was titulated King of the Romans?Calgacus said:This list may well have put me off the game. Why TF is Germany not playable. Don't tell me they're going to impose the anachronistic HRE game concept on the High Middle Ages
Austria was a margraviate, indeed, but Burgundy is a different matter - there was also the so-called Free County of Burgundy (Franche-Comté)... BohemiaCalgacus said:And "Princedom"?I think they mean PRINCIPALITY!
Austria was a Margravate then Duchy - not a County. Burgundy was a Kingdom or a Duchy, depending on what you're speaking of. Bohemia was a Kingdom. Why are some names nativized and other not?
