Hey guys, I decided to take a go at playing as Navarra. As you might agree, one of the most important things to get off to a good start is to secure the PU through event over Aragon. However, I seem to have runned into a position where Aragon's king died almost immediately, but the event chain that gives you the claim doesn't seem to fire.
I waited around for an odd year (which if I understand correctly shouldn't even be neccessary, it has mean time 1 month), and no result. I saw in the flavor event for Navarra that it needs the Aragonese country flag "aragon_monarch_flag" to be active, but don't really know how to look up those flags.
So, am I missing something or am I just impatient?
PS, my first guess was that maybe it didn't trigger if the abdicated but if you look at their prestige that does not seem to be the case. Also, maybe there could be an event that doesn't trigger it but I don't think thats the case.
