Need for an Additional Difficulty Level of Play

Hi,

Having test-played the game on Normal, and Hard difficulty levels, I have come to a conclusion that an in-between level is needed. Per Linda_Neocore's post in the link below, it is apparent that there is a 30% difficulty gap between Normal and Hard levels of difficulty.

As it stands right now, I can virtually mop floor with the AI on Normal difficulty -- in my most recent exploit I seized both West Essex and Kent with a single army without ever bothering to halt to replenish my troops. At the same time, on Hard difficulty, I often feel that I am involved in an overly-meticulous strategic micro-management of a bloodbath...Granted, I've been winning my encounters, but feeling that I am playing a totally different game than I was just one level of difficulty lower.

I strongly feel that an "Advanced" level of difficulty with a 0.9 modifier for the AI stats would be a good idea as a link between Normal and hard play -- it would create both a hint of an advantage for the player but with a significantly heightened degree of challenge above what Normal play currently offers.
