Need help fixing negative cash flow in Tutorial.

I was trying the tutorial in the 1.08 version of the game
(thank you for allowing to save in this version). Anyhow,
the problem I am running into is that it looks like I am
going to run out of cash and have to take out a loan.

I had a positive cash flow early, but it turned. Is this
supposed to happen? What am I doing wrong here? Should
I limit where I sent trading posts? Am I building too many
troops (they all get eaten up through attrition and
combat)?

Any tips will be appreciated.

Go to the budget window and set it so more money flows into your treasury. That's the easiest and fastest way to get rid of this problem, but it raises inflation.
