Need help re downloads

Stupid but essential questions:

1) Where do I drop the EU 1.09 NA download, i.e. where in the directory?

2) Same q re scenarios: where do they go and what do I do to get them playable?

I always direct my downloads to a folder on the desktop named "downloads". That way I never "lose" a downloaded file.
All you have to do then is double click on the file and it will install itself to the EU directory (just check that the "browse box" is stating the correct path.

The scenarios are also downloaded to the "downloads" file and then I cut and paste to the "scenario" folder inside the main EU folder.
They will then "turn up" in the left hand list when the game is started.
