Need Help with Metaserver Please!

I'm new to the Paradox world so please bare with me.

Ok, I registered my game Semper Fi,(HoI3 expansion) but my HoI3 is not registered...Would that hold me back from being able to log in correctly? I typed in my username and password from this forum like everyone suggested, and it keeps giving me a "bad username" message....any help would be greatly appreciated.

All Paradox need the key from the Base Game to play via Metaserver, but the metaserver isnt really helpfull for mp, organise your game here in the forum.

As Sean already wrote you have to register your base game of HOI3. You registered your copy of Semper Fi what is the problem to register your HOI3, too?
