So I played Millennia on the weekend when it was free. I liked what I saw, but I haven't committed to purchasing it yet, principally because my machine can't run it very well.

Anyway I made a couple mods to add more nations to the game. One of them adds the Armenian nation. I loaded it up, the flag and the nation name was working, but the city names were not. They were showing the tags instead of the actual names.

I would like to know what I was doing wrong. Could someone help me with this? I am attaching the mod:

need help again

I made a couple more mods, using my previous ones as a template. however these two mods cause the game to stop at 'loading mods' upon launching the game. I have no idea why. everything seems identical to the mods that work.

could someone download them and tell me whether they are working for them?

found a fix: changed all instances of text 'Byzantium' to '0987', and reverted only NationName and string to 'Byzantium' and it works now. Apparently, Byzantium already exists in the game, probably as a splinter nation off Rome

so that's worked with a couple other mods that were giving the same issue: Elam (I changed 'Elam' to '1234') and Burma ('Burma' to 'Myanmar'), but my mod for Khazaria isn't working. Ive changed 'Khazaria' first to 'Khazar' then '666' but the same issue persists

I managed to get Khazaria mod working by manually changing everything from a previously working mod. Now I have made a Macedonia mod using a C++ script (that I've used to creates loads of working mods). I'm running into the same issue where there seems to be a conflict between the mod files and game files. This was the problem in my Byzantium mod where I fixed it by changing the config ID to anything other than 'Byzantium' (which probably already exists in the game). So I changed config ID of Macedonia to Philippia, and updated references, but the mod is still stuck in loading. I have been working at this for hours, and I am at my wits' end.
