Everytime I try to join amultiplayer game on Vnet with person that have na 1.07 as myself I get the message wrong version.

I have reinstalled the game and apllied the pacthes without any mods.

what can be done?

install the beta patch march 31, atleast if you want to play in tsunami or with me you need that, I don't play with anything but betas :) And I think that might solve your compatibility problems for sure too since I havent had any problems with march 31 people, and it seems be much more common for MP players to have that instead of 1.07 installed anyway, or lets just say any serious gamer has the beta.

any serious gamer, Reddie? Come on, I'll have the 1.07 patch and I'm serious (well, kind of :p). I will never play in that tsunami game anyway, too many people for my style... :D

btw, I have the same problem with it. Someone on vnet said I could reinstall it but I did and still have that 31 march beta.
Any answer would be appreciated :)

the changes from 1.07 -> to march 31 are so great I couldn't dream of ever playing with 1.07 again, march 31 100000000 times better :)

you should try out the new 1 april beta....:D

I agree with this :D

btw kurtbrian, I posted this on the EU2 discussion board before I saw this post and recently I got an answer.
This was what he said:

"Make sure you have completely uninstalled EU2 before reinstalling. Ie remove ALL files.

Install 1.07 patch.

Presto!"

I haven't tried it yet though :)

good luck

Please notice that the apr1 1.07 beta still says mar 31 BETA on the intro screen. (Not a joke). Slightly confusing.

What do you mean? It says 1.07 betas for the thread title and the dl is called : eu2_107b_1apr.zip
Yes, I know. However, in the actual eu2.exe file in the April 1st release, it says mar 31 BETA. At least when I start it and also when I search for BETA in the eu2.exe :)

Probably Johan just forgot to update the version number in the file.

Actually, when I posted it, I had forgotten to copy in the updated executable. It was changed after 30 people had downloaded it.

so redownload it ;)

Changed content and released under the same name? You are a very naughty boy, Johan. That has all days been a big no-no.

Are there any problems with having ZA running?

I opened redirected some ports on my router yesterday

2300-2400 ad 46-something is that enough to play or do I need to do more.

ZA have asked if EU is allowed access and I confirmed it so it should be open now, right?
