I'm working on creating a scenario and have run into a problem. When I try to give a country an "owned province" that would have a shipyard if you were playing the game, the scenario editor shuts off. Any help would be very appreciated.

The scenario editor is notoriously unreliable; it's nearly impossible to use it to make a whole scenario start to finish. You could use it to create the general structure of the scenario and then switch to hand editing (in Notepad), or just do hand editing all the way (which is what most people do). You can look at other scenarios to get an idea of the structure. See also Havard's Scenario Editing Guide.
Thanks. I realized after I made this thread that there was already a Scenario Editor FAQ. I had been considering to edit it in Notepad but now I will be sure to do use it.
