Need Help

Ok so after I edited the game and I put CSA in I couldn't open the 1936 file in game editor. Everytime I try to load it, this comes up: "Cannot open file scenarios\1936\CSA.inc.

Is there anyway I can just reset the game to how it was first? Or to change it so I can load 1936 back up?

Any chance you made a backup of the files before you changed them? I'm guessing that's not an option for you since you are posting on this forum.

Probably you will need to uninstall, then reinstall. There is a stickied post in this forum for how to do that. Perhaps someone will jump in here and solve this for you some other way - it could happen... unless I am totally misunderstanding you. You can't play the game now after you tried the editing?

Once you get the game back to where you can play it, either by reinstall or some quick fix - some advice:

1. Do not use the HOI2 game editor, it has been known to cause the sort of problem you have now. There is a stickied thread at the top of this forum about that too. Just don't use it for any editing. Find another editor or use notepad.

2. Back up anything you modify yourself, or apply a MOD to, first. So you can go back if needed.

3. If you want a CSA mod, there already is one. Check out CSABadass's CA mod for HOI2, in the MOD forums. That will let you start with CSA in 1936.

Ok thanks but I can still play it, but its weird because the 1936 scenario doesn't even have the CSA in it. But whenever I try to load it up on the game editor it comes up. I will probably reinstall seeming thats the easiest way.
