In my game I took military control over several nations. After saving and loading a game I have to reissue marching orders for these countries and they have have to march again from their beginning positions. In Africa this means you lose months. This can't be normal. Anyone else with this problem?

Unfortunately it is normal with the earlier versions of the game.

Which version of HOI2 are you playing, and have you applied all of the patches available for that version?

IIRC the later versions (doomsday and arma) either have a patch to correct this or, as in the case with arma, it was no longer an issue with the initial release of the arma add-on.

Huh? I have doomsday with the 1.3a patch. Wel then maybe I reinstal all to be on the safe side
