This bug mainly applies to CORE but a bug none the less @Zsar1

As CORE features not only resources gained from provinces but use of resources by civilian's energy for heating/elecricity and oil for cars some provinces have negative energy and/or oil production.

Oil regulation is a CORE event where civilian oil useage is reduced, however there is a bug that makes it impossible during ingame to go to negative resource numbers this results in the following examples:

Berlin
start change end
oil energy oil energy oil energy
-5 38 +1 -2 0 36

Also it is not possible fix this by reducing from 0 as it just ends up at 0.

2nd Related bug not sure if to make a new thread.

Also on resources indicators on top of the screen if some resources negative total ie. Germany 36 negative oil this does not show, instead it shows oil income as 0 while it is a negative.

1.08.

Bit of proplems in gething CORE to run on the 1.10 gets stuck on then initialize provinces. More detailed information

3: Oil & energy rationing.

Especialy when playing as germany the oil reduction events end up giving alot of oil for free, this is due to a bug in hardcode as you cant reduce from negative, as any modification on a negative value changes it to 0.

Examples:
-6 + 1 = 0
-6 - 2 = 0
0 - 2 = 0
0 + 1 = 1

So in the end nearly all german citys end up whit a positive oil combined whit high IC the low oil end up much higher.

On the 36 german start's -42 + 2 base oil in a 44 save same area gives +12 base oil. Total change of +52 base oil production.

While example is of germany it aplies on all oil rationing that have negative values. Also frankfurt & stuttgard gain energy due to oil rationing -6=>0 due to the same bug.

Now i think this is NOT working as intended but be nice to know for sure.
Moving negative resources to offmap(resource modifies dont affect) might be way to fix or giving the oil to another non negative province(uglyer fix imo, but resource modifiers work)

That data is from start of new game & a 1944 Save

The resources are all calculated from base value whitout any modifiers.

Edit. The quote has bit more data that is needed as the bug where first filed in CORE forums then here.

Reproduced. Diagnosed. Fixed.

If another RC for 1.10 will become necessary, this will be in. If not, it will be in the first Snapshot for 1.11.

addendum: Fixed as of 1.10 RC 8.
