1st, i dont think its wasted, as there was no sprite for this level.
2nd, where is the advantage in using a Fw190 sprite for L1? It will last the same year, but in addition its gonne be unacurate, because the plane it represents is a biplane. So, dont you think that a biplane sprite suits more a biplane model than a shiny Fw190 advanced fighter sprite?

Sekinoss, theres a BUG in the ITA cruiser, at least in the pack you released with all your sprites. Its in the fire animation, i dont remember if SW or NE (silly me ), but it says frames = 19 when the bmp file has 21 frames, resulting in a moving image ingame.
