New Computer: New Problems

I recently had to get a new computer. A Sony VAIO running Windows 7. since my current Scenario is heavily edited I tried to open the game editor to do a few tweaks. The editor opened but I found I could not create New ministers or leaders or see the Minister or leader pics in the editor.

I'm using Doomsday with the 1.3 patch. Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to use the editor?

I've used it successfully on other computers. The trouble here is that when I put the game on the new computer, some of the action tabs were missing.

Do you have the game installed in the default location (c:\program files....)

If so try relocating the editor to a non c:\program files folder like c:\games\hoi2

You might be experiencing a UAC issue.
