Hi guys,

It's been a while since I last played Magicka and when I launched the game, I saw some new game mode content.

- The Stars Are Left (Adventure)
- The Other Side of the Coin
- Dungeons & Daemons

I really enjoyed the first Adventure, so I'm wondering, how good is 2nd one, The Stars Are Left?
Is it also a well polished content with a lot of funny parts and new places? Or is it something rushed just for the sake of having an other Adventure?
I'm asking this, because when I checked a few gameplay trailers, I recognized a lot of parts from the 1st Adventure.

Also liked the Vietnam mission. So how good are the other 2 new missions (The Other Side of the Coin and Dungeons & Daemons) compared to Vietnam?

Thanks in advance,

Taro.

Same as you, I have not played in a while, but I own and played both TSAL and TOSOTC. Unless something changed in recent months, and recalling my experience with each, I would recommend TSAL. On the other side, I was P.O.'d with TOSOTC and would not recommend it.

If you get TSAL, you will need to think a bit on how to defeat bosses - unlike in the main campaign where boss fights feel easier but also give you more freedom to be creative. Still, with the exception of the final TSAL boss, bosses are not hard - once you figure out what works and what doesn't. Bottom line is, at this time DLCs should be cheap, so what is there to lose? Heck, thinking of it, I might even forget my grudge with bugs and TOSOTC and go after D&D one - 'till P.O.'d again. :D

Dungeons is great. It has an included hard mode also for when the normal becomes easy.

The Stars are Left is ok. I thought the magicks were lacking, but the campaign overall was a nice change of pace. As said, the bosses were harder than the original campaign.

The Other side of the Coin is also a nice change of pace. I didn't like it at first, but just because I would kill myself with life all the time. Once I learned how to play it, it was fun. The boss fight is hard enough to be interesting.
