First Crusade triggered due to some Arab Adventurer somehow reaching Cantebury and invading Kent ( I dunno, weird to begin with ).
The Pope is Welsh so naturally he is all about calling an English crusade, what with Haestin owning half of Wales at present. So far so good, I guess.....

Nope, the rallying point for this minor northern crusade with mostly counts and dukes on the atlantic seaboard....its gathering in Roma... Even the involved local counts from England. *sigh* Guess i'll just disband my troops and wait a while haha.

Am I foolish for thinking it would have a dynamic rally point and choose soemwhere like Oh I dunno..my counties in Anjou?

Did, the Devs have not said this excatly, that the Great Holy War AI chooses, the best County to gather the Crusade Army.
I guess, the Devs have not been honest about this, because gathering in Rome for an Crusade in England is not the best thing to do.

It's possible that it concluded Roma was the best place supply wise, but it really wasent a huge number of participants so I doubt that. Eitherway, wars over.

My sister ( because of course you can never award anyone useful ) and a bunch of other lovely ladies now control the Kingdom of England and the vikings have been pushed out 18 years in due to one random Arabic adventurer getting super lucky hahaha. Weird...


In the interest of fairness, this is the first time i've played in this area for a while and I just saw King Charles use the 'Unify West Frankia And Aquitaine'. Hats off to you for that one devs, I always dreaded having to metagame to keep it together if I was playing a French character.
